LyondellBasell Names Gallogly CEO, Adds to Chapter 11 Filing

LyondellBasell Industries has named James Gallogly CEO, replacing Volker Trautz who is retiring. Gallogly is the former head of Chevron Phillips Chemical (CP Chem), a 50-50 joint venture of ConocoPhillips and Chevron. The appointment is subject to approval by the U.S. bankruptcy court overseeing LyondellBasell’s reorganization plan.
