Lanxess Appoints New CFO

Lanxess says it has appointed Bernhard Düttmann as its new CFO, effective April 1, 2011. Düttmann has also been named a member of the board. The move follows current CFO Matthias Zachert’s announcement that he will leave Lanxess to be CFO of Merck KGaA.  Zachert’s contract with Lanxess ends March 31.  Düttmann joins Lanxess from personal care company Beiersdorf where he was CFO and a member of the board.
