KBR receives contract for Indiana ammonia plant

KBR announced today that its ammonia process technology has been selected by Midwest Fertilizer for its new fertilizer manufacturing plant at Mt. Vernon, IN. The 2,200 m.t./day ammonia plant will use KBR’s “Purifier” technology that uses low energy consumption, reduces capital costs and improves plant operations, KBR says.
