Intrepid Potash reports higher earnings due to high potash sales volumes

Intrepid Potash (Denver) reported a 30% gain in net income, to $33.3 million, for the third quarter 2012 due to additional potash sales at a higher price, the company says. Adjusted earnings were $28.9 million, up 23% year-on-year (YOY). Earnings of 44 cts/share beat analyst estimates of 34 cts/share, according to Thomson Reuters (New York).
