Huntsman, Cargill commit to use of more energy-efficient ships

Huntsman, Cargill and Unipec UK (London) says they have committed to chartering more efficient vessels for shipping their products. The companies will use the Existing Vessel Design Index (EVDI) vessel fuel efficiency ratings systems developed by RightShip (Melbourne, Australia) and the Carbon War Room (CWR; Washington), and published on shippingefficiency.org, to choose ships based on greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
