People & Business :: People/Executives Helm Names Its Next CEO, Posts Big Increases in Annual Profits and Sales12:52 PM MDT | March 28, 2011 | Ian Young Chemical distributor and trader Helm (Hamburg) has named Hans-Christian Sievers as its next CEO, effective January 1, 2012. Sievers has been a Helm executive board member since 2001 and he has board responsibility for the Helm International division. He will succeed Dieter Schnabel as Helm CEO. Schnabel will join Helm's supervisory board. Helm, meanwhile, says that its "expected" consolidated net profit after taxes increased 21% in 2010 from the previous year, to almost €57 million on sales up 61%, to €7.96 billion.
