GSK to Cut Jobs, Outsource U.K. Unit

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) says that during the next two years it plans to reduce its workforce and focus production solely on final-stage pharmaceutical manufacturing at its Ulverston, U.K. site. The measures, part of a wider program to reduce costs, would lead to 330 job cuts at Ulverston, about 61% of its workforce there.
