Firmenich appoints new chairman

Firmenich (Geneva), the world’s second-largest flavors and fragrances producer, has announced the appointment of Yves Boisdron as its new chairman. This move follows the retirement of Vernon Sankey on 30 June. Boisdron joined the Firmenich board in October 2006 and has served as the vice chairman of the company and as chairman of the governance and compensation committee.
