People & Business :: People/Executives FMC Names Brondeau as Next CEO1:30 PM MST | December 1, 2009 FMC has named Pierre Brondeau as president and CEO, succeeding William Walter, effective January 1. Brondeau has also been elected to FMC’s board. Walter will remain chairman until his retirement date of October 1, 2010. Brondeau: Takes FMC helm in January Brondeau, 52, retired last September from Dow Chemical, where he served as president and CEO of Dow Advanced Materials.
