ExxonMobil Chemical Plans to Expand Lubricants Production in Louisiana

ExxonMobil Chemical says it will invest $215 million to increase capacity for synthetic lubricant base stocks and lubricants blending and packaging operations at its Baton Rogue, LA operations. The new and expanded production facilities in Baton Rouge will replace the company’s existing base stock manufacturing and aviation lubricants blending, packaging and storage operations at Edison, NJ—which will continue production until the new facilities go on stream in 2014.
