Ex-boss of Total Charged

A court at Toulouse, France has decided to bring charges against Total and its former chairman Thierry Desmarest as part of a criminal trial covering the September 2001 explosion at the AZF fertilizer plant of Grande Paroisse, a Total subsidiary. Desmarest was chairman of Total at the time of the blast.
