Economy Has Not Hit Bottom, Experts Say

The global economy has yet to show significant signs of hitting bottom, according to presenters at CW’s 2009 economic outlook webcast, held on February 18. ACC chief economist Kevin Swift reiterated an earlier forecast, which CW reported on in January, predicting the economy will bottom out in August. Africa and the Middle East are the only regions that have not seen a recession, while North America has seen the largest declines, Swift adds.
