DuPont increases nylon resin prices

DuPont’s performance polymers segment announced today that it is increasing prices on its nylon-6,6 polymer and unreinforced nylon-6,6 resin globally on 1 July, or as contracts permit. Prices for the polymer and unreinforced nylon-6,6 grades will increase by 7%. DuPont says the price increases are due to the escalating costs of key raw materials for nylon-6,6 production.
