Brenntag acquires Texas water treatment distributor

Brenntag has acquired Altivia (Houston), a regional producer and distributor of water treatment additives and commodity chemicals, for $125 million. Altivia’s affiliate Altivia Chemicals is not included in the transaction. Altivia Chemicals produces ferric and ferrous sulfate at its facility at Pasadena, TX, as well as aluminum polymers.
