Bayer Corp. CEO to Depart in June

Bayer Corp. says that Greg Babe, Bayer’s senior official for the U.S. and Canada, has announced plans to retire from the company, effective June 30.  Babe, 54, has served as president and CEO of Bayer Corp. since 2008, and CEO of Bayer MaterialScience LLC since 2004. The company has not yet announced a successor. Babe started with Bayer in 1976 as its first-ever U.S. intern.
