BASF supervisory board elects chair

BASF announced today that the supervisory board has elected Jürgen Hambrecht, former chairman of the company, as its new chairman. He replaces Eggert Voscherau, who took over as chairman following the annual shareholders’ meeting in 2009 and who is not available for reelection. The supervisory board has also reelected Michael Diekmann and Robert Oswald as vice chairmen, both of whom had previously held this function.
