BASF sells epoxy curative business to US firm

Gabriel Performance Products (Ashtabula, OH) has reached a deal to acquire BASF’s merchant-based epoxy curative business. The acquisition of BASF’s Capcure business strengthens Gabriel’s position in the epoxy curing market. There will be a transition period of 60 days, until 15 February 2013, to ensure supply reliability for customers during the transfer, the companies say.
