BASF says it will reshape its leather and textile chemicals business with increased focus on growing Asia/Pacific and high value-adding applications, such as those for the leather automotive industry and premium textile articles. Global R&D activities for each segment will be established at Shanghai. The restructuring will lead to 65 job losses worldwide, including 29 at Ludwigshafen.
