BASF appoints Ralph Schweens as president/South America

BASF has appointed Ralph Schweens president/South America based at São Paulo, Brazil, effective 1 October 2013. Schweens, currently managing director of BASF Mexicana (Mexico City), will succeed Alfred Hackenberger who will retire on 30 September, following  more than 30 years with BASF. Michael Stumpp, currently senior v.p./global home & personal care business within the care chemicals division, will succeed Schweens as managing director of BASF Mexicana on 1 September...
