BASF Appoints New Business V.P. in Asia

BASF says it has appointed Marcelo R. Lu as v.p./regional business management, polyamides & intermediates, Asia/Pacific, effective September 1, 2012. Lu joined BASF at Ludwigshafen as project manager in 2006 and was later appointed global lead buyer in 2007. He moved to BASF East Asia headquarters, at Hong Kong, in 2009, and most recently held the role of director of business management, polyamides & intermediates.
