Assessing CEO Confidence

Chemical industry CEOs are less confident about business prospects over the next 12 months than executives in other sectors, but they are generally more upbeat about the potential for innovation to drive growth, according to a recently released survey of CEOs worldwide. Less than two-fifths, or 39%, of chemical company CEOs are very confident of revenue growth over the next 12 months, compared to 50% of CEOs from other sectors, according to the survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
