Albemarle builds blending, granulation system at Shanghai facility

Albemarle announced today that it has completed an installation of a granulation and blending system at its Shanghai antioxidant facility—upping total one-pack capacity to over 10,000 m.t./year, the company says, and also adding the capability to make one-pack formulations of up to eight components. The facility now has the capability of producing non-dusting antioxidants in both granules and pellets, which will be supplied to polyolefin producers, the company says. Project costs were not...
