Agrium closes acquisition of Viterra's retail business in Canada, Australia

Agrium announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Viterra’s (Regina, SK) Canadian and Australian retail assets for C$300 million ($290 million), which includes an estimated new working capital of C$300 million, the company says. The purchase agreement includes 90% of Vieterra’s business in Canada, and all of its business in Australia.
