ACC regional production index up over April

ACC today released its US Chemical Production Regional Index (CPRI), showing a 0.6% gain in April—with all seven regions showing increased manufacturing. The CPRI grew 0.2% over March. ACC says manufacturing production unexpectedly slipped during April, however on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis, the nation’s overall manufacturing output was up. ACC says output in many key chemistry end-use markets expanded—including appliances, motor vehicles, aerospace, construction supplies, machinery, fabricated metal products, computers...
