Ferro's electronics, color, and glass v.p. to depart

Ferro says that Michael J. Murry, v.p. of the electronics, and color, and glass materials segment, will leave the company, effective 19 October. The “departure reflects the company's continuing efforts to streamline the organization and reduce corporate costs,” Ferro said today in a regulatory filing that disclosed the departure. The electronic, color, and glass materials business group, which accounted for 47% of Ferro’s $2.1 billion in 2011 revenue, will report during an interim period to Ferro chairman and CEO James Kirsch, Ferro says.
