Huntsman Prevails in Hexion Lawsuit, Obtains Restraining Order Barring Banks from Blocking Deal (Updated)

The Delaware Court of Chancery last night denied Hexion Specialty Chemicals’ bid to end its obligation to acquire Huntsman, ordering Hexion to take all actions to close the deal “in the most expeditious manner practicable.” Huntsman also obtained a temporary restraining order today barring Hexion’s lenders from any action to block financing....
