Michael Koenig has been appointed president of Bayer Group Greater China and chairman of Bayer China. He replaced Jürgen Dahmer who stepped down for health reasons. Koenig was until recently senior v.p./global production and technology, isocyanates at Bayer MaterialScience. He worked earlier for Bayer in China, speaks Mandarin, and has well-established contacts with the Chinese government and other Chinese authorities, Bayer says.
