Yara acquires businesses in Latin America for $425 million

Yara International (Oslo) says it has entered into an agreement to acquire OFD Holding from energy and fertilizer company Omimex Resources (Fort Worth, TX), for $425 million. OFD is the fertilizer division of Omimex Resources. The acquired business comprises production facilities in Colombia and distribution companies across Latin America, Yara says.
