Warwick to Buy Detergent Chemical Firm in Ireland

Warwick Chemicals (Mostyn, U.K.) has agreed to acquire International Detergent Chemicals (IDC; Cork, Ireland) from Dubag Celtic Holding (Cork). The deal is expected to be completed this year. Financial terms were not disclosed. IDC manufactures tetraacetylethylenediamine, a bleach activator used in laundry and household products. Dubag acquired the business from Henkel in February 2011.
