People & Business :: M&A VanDeMark Chemical changes owners11:11 AM MST | December 11, 2012 | Vincent Valk Private equity firms Uni-World Capital (New York) and Brightwood Capital Advisors (New York) have acquired phosgene maker VanDeMark Chemical (Lockport, NY) from Buckingham Capital (New York) for an undisclosed sum. Buckingham acquired VanDeMark, formerly part of Isochem, from SNPE (Paris) in a carve-out in 2007. The firm, which was founded in 1951 under the VanDeMark name, has 85 employees and annual revenues of $35 million to $40 million.
