Univar to acquire Magnablend (updated)

Univar (Redmond, WA) has agreed to acquire Magnablend (Waxahachie, TX), a provider of chemical manufacturing, blending, and packaging solutions. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal closed on 11 December, and Magnablend will now function as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Univar and will continue to be led by its existing management team.
