TÜV SÜD acquires majority of Swiss lab and consulting firm

TÜV SÜD (Munich), a testing and certification consultancy, has acquired a majority of Swissi Process Safety (SWS; Basel), a company providing laboratory and consulting services, TÜV SÜD announced today. Transaction details were not disclosed. SWS offers laboratory services for determining material properties and reaction parameters, as well as consulting services that focus on thermal process safety, explosion prevention, and safety concerns related to the Seveso directive.
