Swedish drugmaker Meda rejects Mylan's bid offer

In the latest wave of M&A frenzy in the pharma industry, Meda (Solna, Sweden) today rejected a revised bid offer by Mylan, the largest generic-drug company in the United States. “The board hereby confirms that it has been contacted by Mylan regarding a revised, nonbinding, indicative interest to combine the two businesses.
