Sasol to sell its European solvents business and two German sites to Ineos

Sasol announced today that it has reached an agreement to sell its German solvents manufacturing plants and the associated European solvents business to Ineos. The international solvents business of Sasol is not affected by the sale of Sasol Solvents Germany, the company says. The employees were informed at a staff meeting today. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities. Financial details were not disclosed.   The sale includes sites at  Moers and Herne, Germany.
