Report: Dow puts Angus Chemical and AgroFresh on the block

Dow Chemical has started the process of divesting two of its specialty chemicals subsidiaries, Angus Chemical (Buffalo Grove, IL) and AgroFresh (Philadelphia), which could bring in a combined $2 billion, according to Reuters citing “people familiar with the matter.” The process forms part of Dow’s previously announced divestment plan of non-core assets by 2015.
