People & Business :: M&A Private Equity Firm Buys Packaging Business From DuPont8:48 AM MST | January 2, 2012 | Vincent Valk Sterling Group Partners (Houston), a private equity firm, has purchased Liqui-Box Corporation (Worthington, OH) from DuPont for an undisclosed sum. Liqui-Box makes bag-in-box flexible packing for use in the dairy, beverage and bulk food sectors. Liqui-Box is the fourth business Sterling Group has acquired from DuPont. It is the firm’s third investment in its third, $820-million, fund, which was raised in 2010.
