PPG to acquire heat-resistant industrial coatings maker

PPG Industries has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Hi-Temp Coatings Technology (Boxborough, MA), a privately held maker of high-temperature-resistant and insulative coatings, PPG says. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
