People & Business :: M&A Nufarm Acquires U.S. Seeds Firm1:19 AM MST | December 1, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Agchem firm Nufarm (Melbourne) says it has acquired Seeds 2000 (Breckenridge, MN) for $55.2 million. Seeds 2000 is a sunflower seed research and production company with annual revenues of about $20 million. The company has significantly expanded its international activities in recent years and today conducts development and sales activities in the U.S., Canada, China, Argentina, and a number of European markets, Nufarm says.
