People & Business :: M&A Lanxess Acquires U.S. Manufacturer of Bladders for Tire Industry12:35 AM MDT | March 15, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Lanxess says its Rhein Chemie (Mannheim, Germany) subsidiary has acquired Tire Curing Bladders (TCB; Little Rock, AR), a privately-owned leading manufacturer of bladders for the tire industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction will close with immediate effect, Lanxess says. TCB recorded sales of $21 million in 2011 and employs about 100 people.
