Jacobs Engineering acquires Australian firm Sinclair Knight Merz

Jacobs Engineering said on Sunday that it has entered into a merger agreement with Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM; Sydney), a 6,500-person professional services firm, for approximately A$1.3 billion ($1.2 billion) in cash. The purchase price reflects an enterprise value of A$1.2 billion plus adjustments for cash, debt and other items.
