(ICL; Tel Aviv) says that its ICL Performance Products business has agreed to acquire the phosphorus pentasulfide (P2S5) business assets and operations of Thermphos International (Vlissingen, Netherlands) located at Knapsack, Germany. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition expands ICL Performance Products’ leadership in global markets for phosphorus-based specialty chemicals while expanding its European footprint, ICL says.
