Haltermann completes purchase of Petrochem Carless

Haltermann Holding (Hamburg) has completed the acquisition of Petrochem Carless (Leatherhead, UK) for an undisclosed amount. Completion of the deal was confirmed today by private equity firm H.I.G. Europe, which owns Haltermann. It follows approval of the transaction by the European Commission. Petrochem Carless is a refiner and producer of hydrocarbon chemicals with production at Harwich, UK, and blending sites at Gunness, UK; and Ghent, Belgium, that generated combined sales of more than £350 million ($537 million) in 2012.
