General Chemical Buys Water Treatment Firm

General Chemical (Parsippany, NJ) has acquired Southern Water Consultants (SWC; Decatur, AL), a water treatment chemicals maker. The acquisition includes SWC’s manufacturing plant in Decatur, as well as its intellectual property.
