People & Business :: M&A DuPont Considering Automotive Coatings Sale?3:29 PM MDT | November 3, 2011 | Vincent Valk DuPont is considering a sale of its automotive coatings unit, financial sources say. The business could be worth as much as $4 billion in sale, according to a report in Bloomberg. DuPont has reportedly retained Credit Suisse (New York) to advise on the transaction, though an auction for the business has not yet been launched. The business includes a smaller powder coatings business, which will be sold separately, reports say. That business produces coatings for playground equipment and tractors. Greenhill & Co.
