Cepsa and Golden Agri-Resources plan joint venture in palm oil derivatives

Cepsa (Madrid) and the Singapore-listed Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) plan to combine forces to market and distribute edible oils and related products, including fatty acids and alcohols. Cepsa Quimica, its parent company IPIC (Abu Dhabi), and GAR have applied to the European Commission for clearance for a proposed investment by Cepsa in Sinarmas Cepsa (Singapore), a wholly owned subsidiary of GAR, to form a joint venture involved in these activities.
