People & Business :: M&A BASF sells Meyco Equipment business to Atlas Copco10:50 AM MST | January 4, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz BASF says it has signed an agreement with equipment maker Atlas Copco (Stockholm) to sell BASF’s Meyco Equipment business. The operation, based at Winterthur, Switzerland, is part of BASF’s construction chemicals division. Meyco Equipment employs 40 people and reported sales of €20 million ($26.4 million) in 2011. The transaction is subject to approvals with closing expected by the end of the first quarter of 2013. Financial details were not disclosed.
