BASF Sells Marine Biopolymers Business to Norwegian Company

BASF says it has signed a contract with Seagarden (Haugesund, Norway) to sell BASF's Chitosan marine biopolymers business. The transaction, expected to be formally completed by August 2012, will include the Chitosan business and the production site at Tromsø, Norway.
