People & Business :: M&A BASF Plans to Sell its European Decorative Paints Unit8:22 AM MDT | October 6, 2011 | Kerri Walsh BASF says it plans to sell its Relius Coatings decorative paints business and subsidiaries in France and the Netherlands in “the near term.” Relius reported sales of €80 million ($107 million) last year, and is made up of decorative paints and plaster, as well as coatings and glazing for construction applications. The majority of the business’s sales are generated from Germany, and operates in selected countries in Europe.
