Asahi Glass buys Adeka out of epichlorohydrin maker Kashima Chemical

Asahi Glass said today that it has agreed to buy Adeka’s share in Kashima Chemical (Kamisu City, Japan), a producer of epichlorohydrin and allyl chloride. Kashima Chemical, following the acquisition, will become majority owned by Asahi Glass.
