Arle Capital to acquire supplier of polymer for new UK banknotes

Arle Capital (London), a private equity firm spun out of Candover Investments (London) in 2010, is to acquire Innovia (Wigton, UK), a manufacturer of specialty films for labels, overwrap, packaging, and polymer banknote substrate, from Candover in a deal valued at €498 million ($689.5 million) including €340 million in debt, Candover and Arle announced. Arle has refinanced the business and raised the €340 million by way of a high-yield bond. The sale will generate estimated cash proceeds of €12.8 million for Candover's 2001 Fund investors...
